In such a situation, Brihan Mumbai Metropolitan Municipality (BMC) has taken many tough steps. Now a fine of Rs 1000 will be charged for spitting on the streets or any public place in Mumbai. For this, the marshals will monitor the roads.
Earlier in Maharashtra, a 64-year-old man has died due to corona virus infection on Tuesday. The wife of this man has also been found infected with Kovid 19. After this death in Maharashtra, the number of people who died of Corona virus in India has now increased to 3.
The Uddhav government of Maharashtra held a cabinet meeting on Tuesday regarding the growing cases of corona virus. After this, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray informed the media that no leave has been made in the state government offices. No decision has been taken on this yet. According to him, it has been decided that only 50 percent people should go to work in offices.
Thackeray said, government offices and public transport in Mumbai will not be closed. If people do not exercise restraint and do not refrain from taking non-essential travel, then we will be forced to take tough decisions.
