New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Coronavirus on Saturday – the whole world is making a habit of Namaste, if for some reason we have given up this habit, then it is the right time to reintroduce this habit instead of joining hands. In fact, through video conferencing, Modi interacted with people who benefited from the Jan Aushadhi centers across the country.

Modi said- This day is not just to celebrate any scheme but to join millions of Indians and families who have got relief from this scheme. Deepa Shah, who benefited from the Prime Minister’s Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi project, got emotional when she was talking to Modi. Seeing this, the Prime Minister also became emotional.

Janaushadhi centers are running in 700 districts

Janaushadhi centers are being operated in 700 districts out of 728. Presently, medicines and medical equipment for many diseases are provided through 6200 Janaushadhi Centers. Janaushadhi Week is celebrated between 1 to 7 March.

Modi had tweeted: I am excited to talk to all the people who got medicines at affordable prices. Store owners who became self-sufficient. This is the reason why the Prime Minister of India Jan Aushadhi Project is special.
