Shahrukh arrested for firing several rounds in Delhi violence, Tahir still absconding
Shah Rukh, a gunman and aerial firing, has been arrested on a policeman during the violence that erupted last month in north-east Delhi over the amended Citizenship Act (CAA). The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested Shahrukh from Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, Councilor Tahir Hussain is still absconding from the police.

The police also raided from Delhi to Tahir’s native village Amroha on Saturday, but nothing was found. The police has prepared a list of Tahir Hussain’s relatives and close relatives. In fact, violent clashes erupted between supporters and protesters of the Citizenship Amendment Act on Sunday in areas such as Jaffarabad, Gokalpuri, Maujpur, Bhajanpura, Karawal Nagar, etc. in north-east Delhi, after which the violence continued for three days. So far 47 people have died in the violence. In addition to Ratanlal, the head constable of police in Delhi violence, Intelligence Bureau i.e. IB officer Ankit Sharma has also been killed.

The Delhi Police has so far registered 369 FIRs and arrested 1,284 people or detained them in a case of violence in North East Delhi. Police said 44 cases were registered under the Arms Act. According to the police, 21 cases have been registered under cyber crime, including cases of spreading hate messages.
