Chandigarh: An accused has committed suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom of the city’s Budail Model Jail. The name of the accused is said to be Veerpal alias Veeru (26 years). According to the police, Veerpal was a resident of 56 sector. Veerpal was dated 22nd. Budail was brought to jail. He cut the blanket and hanged it in the bathroom by making it a noose. Virpal’s body has been kept in the Morchery of Sector 32 Hospital. Magistrate will investigate the matter.
