Ananya Pandey commented on the struggle and Nepotism in Bollywood, Alia Furniturewala takes a jab now
Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alia Furniturewala is going to make her Bollywood debut. She is the onscreen daughter of Saif Ali Khan in Nitin Kakkar’s film ‘Jawani Jaaneman’. The film will air in all theaters on 31 January. Recently, during a chat show, Alia was asked what is it that you have but not Ananya Pandey. And what would you like to say about Ananya Pandey’s comments on the struggle and privilege.
Alia said that I have a better answer than Ananya Pandey on nepotism. After this, she asks the host that you are asking me to be mean in this question and I do not want to be mean at all on this.
Let us tell you that Alia Furniturewala is the daughter of Pooja Bedi and granddaughter of Kabir Bedi. At the same time, Ananya Pandey is the daughter of Chunky Pandey.
Ananya Pandey had said on a chat show on nepotism that people believe and think that I have found things very easily in the Bollywood industry. but it’s not like that. I have not found anything easily. Mere papa Chunky Pandey, neither came on the show of Koffee with Karan nor was a part of the films which are produced under Dharma Productions.
Alia Furniturewala says on this that I do not think any of us understand the different meanings of conflict, nepotism and privilege. We all move around at the same point and keep the same thinking about all three things. Many times it is just that we do not have the words to place our point on it. When I was watching the round table interview, not once did I feel that Ananya Pandey did not have a clear idea about these three things. Perhaps she could not put her point in the way that should have been kept. Talk about all three things was clear in the mind of every person sitting there. Then I realized that if you are placing any of your points in the media, then it is very important to have clarity about it in your mind or else you can be proved wrong.
