CAA / British magazine said- Modi wants to make India an intolerant society a Hindu nation full of militant nationalism

  • The Economist said – NDA government has been running inflammatory programs for decades, CAA is its most obsessive step

Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ignoring the secular principles of the Indian Constitution through the Citizenship Amendment Act. They are doing such harm to democracy, which can have an impact on India for the next several decades. This is to say of the British magazine ‘The Economist’. In reviewing the policies of the current BJP government of India, the magazine has said that Modi is trying to make India a tolerant and multi-religious society full of militant nationalism.

A day before the economist tweeted the cover of the magazine, its title – Intolerant India means intolerant India. The article against the BJP in the magazine is titled – ‘Narendra Modi is inciting Partition in the world’s largest democracy’. It says that there is a fear among the 200 million Muslims in India that the Prime Minister is building a Hindu nation.

The Economist said on CAA

Amendment Act (CAA) is the most obsessive step in the NDA government’s decades-long inflammatory programs. The article said that though the policies of the government may have helped Modi win the election, but now these policies are proving to be political poison for the country. The magazine has said as a warning that initiatives like Modi’s Citizenship Amendment Act can lead to bloody conflict in India.

‘BJP diverts people’s attention from poor economy by dividing in the name of religion’


The article said that the BJP divided in the name of religion and identity of the country and in its gestures termed Muslims as dangerous. Through this, the party has succeeded in keeping the fundamental supporters energized and diverting public attention from the issue of poor economy. The magazine states that the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC) will help the saffron party to carry forward its divisive agenda. The process of listing of NRC will go on for years, so that their sharing agenda will also continue.
