Most of President Donald Trump’s tweets and retweet on Wednesday were related to the impeachment trial against him in the Senate
Earlier, he made the maximum 123 tweets in one day on December 12 last year, even then impeachment was debated in the lower house.
Washington. As President of the US, Donald Trump on Wednesday broke his own record for most tweets and retweets in one day. He spoke to Twitter 142 times on 22 January. Earlier, Trump set the record for tweeting the highest number of 123 tweets on December 12 during the session of the House Judiciary Committee in the lower house, arguing against him for getting two article clearances for impeachment.
Most of Trump’s tweets and retweets on Wednesday were related to the US Senate impeachment trial. The impeachment motion against him was held for 13 hours in the Senate, the upper house of the US Parliament. Since Trump was in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday, he began the tweet with a tweet from the World Economic Forum. According to Factba.se, he had tweeted 41 on Wednesday between 6 am and 7 pm local time. Most of these posts were retweets of messages and videos and photos shared by Republican lawmakers and other Trump supporters. He was criticizing Democrats for impeachment and relying on Trump politics and policy.

Trump accused of misuse of powers
Trump is facing impeachment trials in the Senate these days. He is accused of pressuring Ukraine to launch an investigation against the two Democrats and his rival Joe Biden. Abusing his powers for personal and political gains, he sought foreign help from Ukraine in his favor for the 2020 presidential election. Trump’s second accusation is that he prevented his White House colleagues from testifying in the House of Representatives – the lower house of parliament. Members of the investigative committee had said that Trump undermined the dignity of the presidency. He also violated his oath of office.
