MYSORE: In the primary school of the railway colony of Ashokapuram in Mysore city, Karnataka, the railway has converted two old coaches into colorful classrooms. So that children can enjoy their studies. These coaches have been named Conali-Kali. It is a pleasure to learn this useful language in Kannada language. There is all kind of arrangement in these two coaches. Special care is taken here for water, electricity (fans and bulbs) and cleanliness.
Officials said that the objective of converting them into classrooms is to provide safe and better places for the education of the children around them. A coach has two classes of fourth and fifth classes. In this, other types of charts and figures have also been made for children, including numbers. The other coach is being used as a hall. Apart from the meeting, other activities are done here.The coach has been painted under the Green Environment and Education theme not only from inside but also from outside. The water cycle and solar system are built on it. According to the needs of children, two bio-toilets have also been installed in these coaches.
Built a sub station to provide Electricity to Coach
It was inaugurated by Sujatha Singh, president of the Women’s Association of South-Western Railways during a workshop. Ajay Kumar Singh, general manager of South-Western Railway Hubballi, has also prepared a sub-station to provide electricity for the coach. Other facilities here include Badminton Court, Wooden Floor etc.
