The result of Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) has been declared. The examination was held in November for the selection of TGT, language teacher, Punjabi, Urdu, JBT and Shastri.

These exams are conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE). At least the pass percentage has been registered in TGT (Medical) examination, in which only 288 out of 5620 candidates who appeared for the examination have qualified. For JBT, which is a junior basic training course, 56.46% of the total candidates who appeared for the exam have been declared passed.
The highest pass percentage has been registered in Urdu and Punjabi language teacher posts, in which 81.40% and 57.81% candidates have passed respectively.
The final result of HPTET has been prepared on the basis of the answer key of the exam. The provisional answer was released after the examination and the candidates were asked to challenge it, citing relevant documents. The final answer was prepared on the basis of objections raised by the candidates.
