Apply for Airman in Indian Air Force, 20th January is the Last Date

Indian Air Force has sought applications for the posts of Airmen. According to the issued notification, only unmarried men can apply for these posts. These recruitments will be made for batch 01/2021 in Group X and Group Y trades. The last date for application is 20 January. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the Indian Air Force for the information related to the post, qualification and application.

Important Information

  1. Candidates who pass in English, Physics and Maths will be considered successful in Group ‘X’.
  2. Candidates who have passed English and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA) will be considered successful in Group ‘Y’.
  3. Whereas, candidates who pass all these subjects will be considered successful in both the groups.
  4. Only engineering diploma holders are eligible to apply for Group X.
  5. It is mandatory for the candidate to have an Aadhaar card.

Exam center: Candidates can choose any three examination centers according to their preference. These include Ambala, New Delhi, Kanpur, Barrackpore (Kolkata), Jodhpur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Tambram (Chennai), Bhubaneswar, Bihta (Patna), Guwahati, Secunderabad, Kochi and Bhopal.

Training: Nominations will be made for the initial 20 years. The candidates will initially be sent to the Basic Training Institute, Belgaum (Karnataka) for Joint Basic Face Training (JBPT). Here after completing training, trades will be given and then trade training will be given.

Application fee: You can pay Rs 250 online as application fee. Apart from this, fees can also be deposited in any branch of Axis Bank through bank challan.

Special dates: Last date for online application – 20 January Expected date of written examination – 19 to 23 March.
