Redmi K30 5G retail box shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, new 10GB RAM variant also spotted on TENAA

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently launched the successor to its highly popular smartphone from 2019, the K20 in China. Called the K30, the device was announced to bring with it a number of exciting features, and top of the line flagship specs.

And now, the device is all ready to go on sale for the first time on January 7, and ahead of the launch, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has shared the first images of the retail box of the device. The box is of the 5G version of the phone, however, except for the particular marking, Xiaomi is expected to use pretty much the same retail packaging for the 4G model of the K30 too.

For the uninitiated, the device was launched in China earlier in December and has been available for pre-orders through Xiaomi Mall and select e-retailers in the company’s home country since then. From what it appears, Xiaomi has tried to keep things simple with the Redmi K30 5G retail box which flaunts a rather minimalist look.

This listing comes after a 12GB variant of the phone had also appeared on TENAA shortly after the launch of the phone. The new TENAA listing shows the Redmi K30 5G with the model number M2001G7AC. While there is no clarity on the matter, it is expected that the 10GB RAM option will likely come with 256GB storage offered alongside.
