Maharashtra Budget / Farmers’ loan up to two lakh waived, 80% reservation to local people in jobs
Mumbai. Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented the first budget of the joint government of Mahavikas Aghadi government i.e. Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP in the Assembly on Friday. This time a deficit budget of Rs 9,510 crore has been presented. Making the farmers happy in the budget, the Finance Minister said that loans up to 2 lakhs of the farmers of the state will be forgiven. This includes those farmers who have taken loans of more than two lakh rupees from banks. Also, 1600 new buses have been announced to be included in the Transport Department. All these buses will have Wi-Fi facility. Making a big announcement, Ajit Pawar said that the government will enact laws to provide employment to 80 percent of the local people of Maharashtra. In the budget, the stamp duty was increased by 1 percent, while petrol diesel was also imposed an additional tax of Rs. 1 and an effort was made to impose economic burden on the public.
