New Delhi: Basant Panchami festival is celebrated with great pomp in North India. Saraswati, the goddess of learning, was born on Basant Panchami, so on this day Saraswati Puja (Saraswati Puja) is contemplated. On this day many people also worship Kama Dev, the god of love.
