IPL: Dhoni will join the team on March 1, taking a break of 4-5 days after practice; First match with Mumbai on March 29

The 13th season of the IPL will begin on March 29. According to media reports, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will join the team on 1 March to prepare for the tournament. Dhoni has been away from professional cricket since last year’s ODI World Cup. Team India then lost in the semi-finals against New Zealand on 9 July. Dhoni took a break from cricket after the tournament.
According to IPL source, “Dhoni will arrive at the camp for practice on 1 March. After practicing for a few weeks, you will take 4-5 days off. They will join the team just before the IPL starts. “Dhoni never joined the team so soon before that. In the past several seasons, he joined the team just before the IPL started. He was then with Team India.
Chennai players will play 4-5 practice matches
Dhoni was seen practicing only once after the World Cup. He was seen practicing in Ranchi on 16 January. They will reach Chennai on 29 February. The camp, to be held from March 1, will consist of 15–16 players out of 24 from the team. The remaining players will arrive at the camp in the second week of March. 3-4 practice matches will also be played between the players. During this time, fans will get entry into the stadium. Chennai’s first match will be from Mumbai on 29 March.
