Paris Hilton has left fans stunned after using her ‘real’ speaking voice for the first time.
The Simple Life star, 39, has made a series of shocking revelations in recent weeks in the lead up to her new documentary, This Is Paris.
Moving away from her iconic ‘dumb blonde’ façade, Paris recently revealed that she had been using her infamous ‘baby voice’ as part of her media persona.
So, when she used her authentic speaking voice during an appearance on Australian breakfast TV program Sunrise, viewers were left baffled.
After hosts Sam Armytage and David Koch looked visibly shocked upon hearing her deep tone, Paris insisted that she had been ‘playing a dumb blonde’ for all those years.

“This entire time, I have been playing a character, so the world has never truly known who I am,’ she explained.
“The real me is someone who is actually brilliant. I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be one.
“I don’t want to be remembered for some airhead, but the businesswoman I am.”
After realising that her iconic baby voice was nowhere to be heard, viewers flocked to Twitter to share their disbelief.
“So, she’s been putting on that baby voice for the past twenty years? Man, what an effort that must have been!” shared one surprised admirer.
“What in the name of god? I was not expecting that when I turned on her interview this morning,” another shared.

While a third wrote: “Gosh, that poor girl. She’s been stripped of even using her own voice by the people who are supposed to care for her the most. So sad.”
“Good on her! Finally coming clean about all of it. She’s such a lady!” a fourth enthused.
Paris previously made an attempt to speak out about the ‘fake voice’ she felt obliged to put on in previous interviews.
In 2016 she appeared on the Today show in America, where the hosts presenters quizzed her about the sudden change in her voice – not believing it to be genuine.
“This is actually my real voice,” she said.
“My other voice – you know, that Simple Life kind of baby voice that I used to use. I actually have a low voice in real life.”
In her upcoming documentary This Is Paris, fans have been given an insight into the real life she has led, which has included trauma and abuse.

During the candid Aussie interview, the reality TV siren opened up about ‘her truth’ and finally revealing all that she has been through.
“I buried my truth for so long,” she admitted.
“But I’m proud of the strong woman I’ve become. People might assume everything in my life came easy to me, but I want to show the world who I truly am.”
