Tottenham boss Mourinho considering surprise £13m move for Will Hughes

Jose Mourinho is considering a surprise move for Watford midfielder Will Hughes.
The Hornets are facing a battle to keep hold of their best players this summer following relegation to the Championship.
And £13million-rated Hughes has emerged as a target for the Tottenham manager as he looks to reshape his squad.
Mourinho has already signed Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, Matt Doherty from Wolves and Joe Hart from Burnley.
And he knows that, whatever signings he makes, he needs to balance the books during this window.
As a result, he is open to defenders Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier and Danny Rose all leaving, as well as back-up goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
If he can move some or all of that quartet on then Hughes, 25, is seen as a good option given he can operate in a number of roles across midfield and would boost Tottenham’s homegrown quota.
Hughes, a one-time target for Liverpool during his days at Derby, has impressed with Watford in the Premier League after joining them from the Rams in 2017.

Spurs also like Brentford’s Ollie Watkins and are on the lookout for a striker to provide back-up to Harry Kane.
Bees boss Thomas Frank has confirmed that his club will listen to offers for 24-year-old Watkins but only if they match their £25million valuation of the player.
