Liverpool cool Adama Traore interest to pursue Sadio Mane’s ‘rapid’ transfer tip

Liverpool are ready to splash the cash to land Ismaila Sarr, according to The Sun.
The Senegal star has had a £40million price tag slapped on his head after Watford ’s relegation from the Premier League.
Sarr, who scored twice as the Hornets ended Liverpool ’s unbeaten run at Vicarage Road back in February, has reportedly been preferred to Wolves ace Adama Traore due to his ability to play both centrally and out wide.
That could see him add a flexible and explosive option to Liverpool’s dynamic attacking trio.
And he comes with a strong recommendation from international team-mate and close friend Sadio Mane.
Speaking after Sarr arrived in England last summer with Watford, Mane warned team-mate Andy Robertson that Sarr could “kill him” as he talked up the “rapid” former Rennes man.
“He’s rapid,” Mane said of Sarr. “I think defenders will struggle.
“Last time I was speaking to Robbo (Andy Robertson) I said ‘Watford have a really good player. I will need to help you more otherwise Ismaila Sarr will kill you, because he is a good dribbler and very, very fast’.”

Sarr would likely be keen to play alongside Mane at club level having previously labelled him his “idol” and “inspiration”.
“Mane is not only a Senegal team-mate of mine but he is my inspiration and idol,” Sarr said previously.
“It will be perfect for me to play against him again. For me he is the best player in the world. For sure, the best African player in Europe.
“He’s our national team leader but he’s also a nice guy and I love him.”
