Journalist Prashant Kanaujia has been arrested by the UP Police. Kanaujia has been accused of communal harmony with his social media posts.
Freelance journalist Prashant Kanaujia has been arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police from his residence in Delhi. Prashant Kanaujia is alleged to have made controversial remarks about the Ram temple, which could spoil the communal harmony. Prashant Kanaujia has already been arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police. However, he was later granted bail.

The Uttar Pradesh police had then registered a case against Kanaujia at Hazratganj police station under various sections of the IPC and the Information Technology Act.
Kanaujia had made satirical remarks on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with a video in which a woman allegedly claimed that she was in constant contact with the Chief Minister through video conferencing.
