The Central Government will open its treasury to promote tourism and culture in Ayodhya. There will be a Ramlila Academy in Ayodhya under the name of Tagore Cultural Complex. There will be research and study on various aspects related to them, not only in India, but also in showcasing Ramlila styles of different countries of the world. The central government will also bear the expenses of building the virtual Ramayana museum in Ayodhya itself. These decisions were taken on Friday evening in a high level meeting chaired by Union Tourism and Culture Minister Prahlada Patel.
With an estimated cost of 500 crores,
there will be a large complex under the pedestal in the 12 acres area of the tallest statue of Lord Rama (height of 251 meters) to be built in the Manjha Barheta area. In it, Ramayan Museum, commercial center and cultural center will be developed. The entire cost of this construction of about Rs 700 crore will be borne by the Central Government. 100 crore rupees have already been given for this project.

84 Kosi road will be
decorated, 84 Kosi Parikrama road of Ayodhya will also be decorated. Tourism of 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg will be developed in a radius of 250 km, touching the boundaries of 5 districts of the state – Ayodhya, Gonda, Basti, Ambedkarnagar and Barabanki. Since the entire road is a national highway, it will now be renovated through the National Highways Authority, while the Ministry of Tourism will take up the task of tourism development.
