‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’ filmmaker Rajat Mukherjee dies, Manoj Bajpayee pays tribute

Filmmaker Rajat Mukherjee has passed away. According to the reports, Rajat was going through many health problems. Rajat is known for Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, Road and many films. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha and Hansal Mehta tweeted on Twitter confirming the news. 

Hansal Mehta writes that it was reported that close friend Rajat has passed away. The director of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya was my friend ever since we both started our struggle in Mumbai. Took many miles together, emptied many old mank bottles. You will have to empty more such bottles in the other world, you will miss my dear friend.

Just got news about the passing away of a dear friend. Rajat Mukherjee director of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Road was a friend from our early, early struggles in Bombay. Many meals, many bottles of Old Monk consumed. Many more to consume in another world. Will miss you dear friend.

At the same time, Manoj Bajpai writes in a tweet that my friend and road director Rajat Mukherjee has died in Jaipur. Rest in Peace Silver. I cannot believe that now we will not be able to meet and talk about work. Be happy wherever you are.
