Students Evacuated Safely As Police, Fire Teams Conduct Checks

At least three schools in New Delhi received bomb threat emails on Friday morning, prompting security agencies to launch immediate search operations.

According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services, one of the institutions — BT Tamil School in Jhandewalan — alerted authorities around 9:12 am after receiving the threat.

Police teams quickly reached the campuses and began evacuation and inspection procedures.

In a message sent to parents, one of the schools said:

“This morning the school received a security threat. As a precautionary measure, police are present on campus. All students have been evacuated safely. Classes will resume once the premises are declared secure.”

Authorities confirmed that students and staff were moved out safely and no injuries were reported. Bomb disposal squads and emergency responders are currently carrying out thorough checks.

Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
