Travel Influencer Anunay Sood’s Death Linked to Possible Drug Overdose, Say Authorities

Anunay Sood, a popular travel influencer with over 1.4 million Instagram followers, was found unresponsive in a Las Vegas hotel room on November 4, 2025.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is now investigating his death as a possible drug overdose.
According to the report, Sood was staying with two women, including his fiancée Shivani Parihar.
Around 4 a.m., the group reportedly met a man on the casino floor and bought a substance they believed was cocaine, which they consumed before returning to the hotel.
When the women woke up around 5 a.m., they found Anunay unresponsive.
Officers found a small bag with a white powdery substance and other drug paraphernalia in the room.
First responders used CPR and five doses of Narcan (a drug used to reverse opioid overdose), but they were unable to revive him.

The official cause of death is still pending — the Clark County coroner is awaiting toxicology results.
The LVMPD labeled the report “non-criminal/medical,” meaning there’s no indication of foul play so far.
Some friends, fans, and creators have expressed concern, noting that the “cardiac arrest” explanation doesn’t fully explain the circumstances.
His girlfriend and family have asked for privacy as the investigation continues.

Anunay was 32 years old and headquartered in Dubai.
