Husband kept chopping his wife’s throat publicly, crowds kept making videos of death
In the town of Palia police station area in Lakhimpur Kheri district of UP, a young man was beaten to death by strangling his wife on the roadside. The husband continued to kill his wife by strangling her on the road and people on the spot kept making videos of her.

When he forcibly took his wife Manju out of her in-laws’ house for Pilibhit, there was some dispute between the husband and wife when they reached Palia town on the way. Ranjit shot his wife first and after that she started killing the wife by adopting a roadside knife.
People present on the spot started making videos by young man Ranjit Kumar slapping his wife Manju and strangling her on social media but no one bothered to save.

It is being told that the young man used to doubt his wife’s character. He suspected that his wife had a love affair with another young man living in the village, due to which he shot his wife first, then slit her throat and brutally murdered her.
SP Poonam of Lakhimpur Kheri district has ordered an inquiry against the youth who made a video of a woman being strangled on the roadside and sent the dead woman’s body to the district headquarters for post-mortem.
