Pictures of migrant laborers struggling to return to home states have been seen in recent times. Large number of workers were seen walking hundreds of kilometers due to no means of transport. In such a situation, a big liquor businessman of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday hired a 180 seater aircraft (Airbus A320) to bring four people from Bhopal to Delhi. The four passengers included the daughter of a liquor baron, her two children and Naini (the lady who looks after the children).
Liquor businessman Jagdish Arora is the owner of Som Distilleries in Madhya Pradesh. When he was contacted over the phone, he first denied hiring such an Airbus. Then before cutting the line, he said, “Why are you interfering in personal things?” The aircraft was hired from Delhi. The aircraft took off from Delhi at 9.30 am and reached Bhopal at around 10.30 am. Then at around 11.30 am the plane took a return flight to Delhi with four passengers from Bhopal.

According to sources, this cost can come between 5 to six lakhs per hour. Turbine fuel prices have come down in recent months due to international conditions.
According to an industry insider, it is likely that between 25 and 30 lakh rupees will be spent by the liquor businessman to bring four people from Bhopal to Delhi.
