IRCTC spokesperson Narendra Pipil said that the plan is still in the initial stage. For this, PVR is being negotiated. For this, passengers will have to pay a separate charge. How much this charge will be, it is not decided at the moment. Second private train Tejas has started from Ahmedabad to Mumbai regularly from 19 January. It runs on all days except Thursday.
Compensation gets when the train is late
Passengers get compensation up to Rs 250 when the train is late. If the train is late for 1 hour, a refund of 100 rupees and 250 rupees is given for 2 hours late. IRCTC sends a link to the mobile number of all passengers. By clicking on this link, travelers can claim the claim. The insurance company pays the claim when the claim is received.
Passengers gets free insurance
Rail travel insurance of Rs 25 lakh is provided to the passengers traveling in Tejas Express. Apart from this, he will get a compensation of up to 1 lakh rupees for theft in the passenger’s house during the journey. The special thing is that you will not have to pay any separate charge for these insurance.
