Game Of Thrones actor BJ Hogg dies at 65
Actor BJ Hogg died at the age of 65. Hogg played the role of Ser Addam Marbrand on Game Of Thrones. Marbrand was a banner-man of House Lannister. The actor appeared in Season 1 of the HBO series.
Hogg was a part of popular sitcom Give My Head Peace where he played Big Merwyn. He was also a part of The Fall and Oscar-nominated film Dance Lexie Dance.
After his death, comedy group The Hole In The Wall Gang, which was associated with Give My Head Peace, issued a statement that read, “BJ is part of the Give My Head Peace family. He was a fine actor, great colleague and a true friend. Our thoughts are with his wife Elish, son Nathan and daughter Abigail at this time.”
Writer and comedian Tim McGarry associated with Give My Head Peace, took to Twitter and paid his last respects to the actor. He wrote, “Everybody associated with #GiveMyHeadPeace is shocked and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague BJ Hogg. We’ve lost a member of the family. Thanks for all the laughs BJ (sic).”
According to reports, BJ Hogg, who hailed from Lisburn in Northern Ireland, died at his residence on Thursday (April 30). He is survived by wife Elish and kids Nathan and Abigail.
