World No.1 bowler admits, most difficult to dismiss Cheteshwar Pujara in Test
World number one Test bowler Pat Cummins has said that Cheteshwar Pujara is the most difficult bowler to bowl in Test cricket and he described India’s middle order batsman as the biggest headache for his team.
Pujara is known for his solid batting at number three. Pujara played a key role in India’s historic Test series win against Australia in 2018-19.
Pat Cummins took the name of Pujara when asked which batsman found it most difficult to bowl in a question and answer program organized by the Association of Australian Cricketers (ACA).
Pat Cummins said, ‘Unfortunately there are many such batsmen, but I will take the name of one such batsman who is the most different and he is Pujara (Cheteshwar) of India. He was a real headache for us.
Pujara had scored 521 runs in the last round of Australia with the help of three centuries and a half-century, helping India win the Test series on Australian soil for the first time. Pat Cummins recalled how the Australian bowlers were facing difficulties in getting Pujara out.

Pat Cummins said, ‘He (Pujara) would have stood like a rock on his behalf in the series. It was very difficult to dismiss him. He used to maintain great concentration day by day. I believe it is the most difficult to dismiss him in Test cricket.
Pujara was voted Man of the Series in this series. He proved that a player can make all the difference with his patience and concentration.
