A 21-year-old girl was arrested after allegedly taking a USPS mail truck in Brooklyn (NYC) last night and crashing it into at least 10 cars parked in a row.
A video released by New York Post captured the moment of arrest. According to witnesses, the unskillful driver moved forward and back toward vehicles, including a patrol, while being surrounded by NYPD agents yelling at her.
The panic started shortly after 6 p.m. on Fulton Street and Patchen Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant. That’s where the unidentified young woman got behind the wheel of an unoccupied Postal Service truck and drove it to a reckless ride that lasted seven blocks.
Miraculously, no one was hurt on the suspect’s terrifying express ride, but more than 10 parked cars were damaged. Charges were pending against the young woman and her mental health status is unknown.
