Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR on Sunday evening amidst the havoc of Coronavirus. After the tremors, people came out of their homes. Along with Delhi, earthquake tremors were felt in Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida. Earthquake news has been felt for about 5 seconds. Please tell that there is a lockdown in the country due to coronavirus. The epicenter of the earthquake was Delhi-UP, while its intensity was measured 3.5 on the Richter scale.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi. Hope everyone is safe. I pray for the safety of each one of you.

What to do in the
event of an earthquake â€¦ If you are out of the house during the earthquake, stay away from high buildings, electric poles etc. Stay out until the shock ends. When you are in a moving vehicle, stop the car soon and stay in the car. Avoid moving bridges or roads that have been damaged by earthquakes.

If you are in the house during the earthquake, then sit on the floor. Take shelter under a strong table or any furniture. If there is no table, cover the face and head by hand. Go to any corner of the house and stay away from glass, windows, doors and walls. If you are in bed, lie down, cover your head with a pillow. If there is heavy furniture around, stay away from it. Avoid using the lift, the lift can hit the wall like a pendulum, and the lift can stop even if the electricity goes. Do not use weak stairs, usually the staircases built in buildings are not strong. Stay indoors till the tremors and exit after the tremors stop.

If you are buried under debris during an earthquake, do not burn matches because there may be a risk of gas leaking during this time. Do not move, and do not blow dust. Cover the face with a handkerchief or cloth. Keep patting any pipe or wall so that the rescue team can find you. Keep whistling if any whistle is available. If there is no other means, then keep shouting, although there is a risk of dust going inside the mouth, so be careful.
