Tokyo  Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has declared a state of emergency in Tokyo, Osaka and 5 other provinces on Tuesday, April 7, after a sharp increase in Corona infection cases in the country. Abe had said that such circumstances are being created which are affecting the lives and economy of the people badly. After the emergency, the country has now issued an unexpected alert.

Abe called a government meeting and declared emergency in Tokyo, Osaka and 5 other areas. The declaration of emergency is likely to come into effect from midnight and it will give the governors of the seven affected areas the right to stay in homes from people and shut down institutions from enterprises. Other areas where emergency has been declared include Saitama, Kangwa, Chiba, Hyogo and Fukuoka. It is believed that the government is afraid that the corona may spread on a large scale in the country.

In fact, the Prime Minister of Japan was under heavy pressure from health officials and MPs over the growing cases of Corona. He said that the government should act soon or it will be late. The government was hesitant to take this decision for the last three weeks.
