10-month-old baby also turns out to be Corona positive in Karnataka, quarantine 6 people from same family
Bengaluru The effect of corona virus has now spread to all four corners of India. First the attack on the elderly and now the child is also vulnerable. In the southwestern state of Karnataka, on Friday 27 March, a 10-month-old baby’s Kovid-19 test came positive. Surprisingly, a child living in Sajipanadu of Dakshina Kannada district has not traveled to any Kovid-19 affected country.
However, preliminary investigation revealed that the child had gone to Kerala with his family some time ago. In this case, contagion has also been confirmed in the other six members of the house. With this, the number of corona infected in the state has increased to 62.
At present, the child is undergoing treatment in a separate ward of the hospital, while six people who come in primary contact with the child have been quarantined at home. Apart from this, a 20-year-old Bengaluru resident has also been found corona positive. The young man returned to India on 15 March, traveling to Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo. In Karnataka, three people have died due to Kovid-19 so far. Earlier this month, two 65-year-old elderly men and a 70-year-old elderly woman died due to the epidemic.
