Mahindra will launch new version of XUV300, will be the most powerful sub-compact SUV, specifications and features
Domestic automobile manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra is about to launch its Sub-Compact SUV (Sub-Compact SUV) XUV300 (XUV300) by making it even more powerful. The company showcased this more powerful variant named Mahindra XUV300 Sportz at Auto Expo 2020 (Auto Expo 2020) a few days ago. This new sports model may see some cosmetic changes compared to the current XUV300. The company will launch the XUV300 Sportz in April this year.
The engine
A more powerful version of the Mahindra XUV300 will get a 1.2-liter T-GDI (turbocharged-gasoline direct injection) engine. This will be as per BS6 BS6 fuel emission standard. The new SUV will get a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, direct-injection, turbo-petrol engine. This engine will produce 130hp power and 230Nm torque.
More power
The current model of the Mahindra XUV300 gets a BS6 turbo-petrol engine. However, the new model will get 20hp more power and 30Nm more torque than the old one. The T-GDI engine will get a 6-speed manual gearbox. In addition to the new engine, the updated Mahindra XUV300 will continue to get the option of existing 1.2-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine models.
What will be the change
Body graphics are one of the changes to the Mahindra XUV300 Sportz. The front door will have ‘Sportz’ written on it. Also, there will be red front brake calipers in the front door. Talking about the interior, the cabin color will be black in the new SUV. There will be red highlights on the dashboard and red contrast stitching on the seat.
