Elon Musk Named in Newly Released Epstein Files — Here’s His Response

Tesla CEO denies 2014 island trip as Democratic lawmakers demand full Epstein disclosure

Elon Musk Mentioned in Latest Epstein Document Release

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has been named in a newly released batch of Jeffrey Epstein documents, alongside high-profile individuals such as Bill GatesSteve Bannon, and Prince Andrew.

The six-page document, made public by Democratic lawmakers, includes an itinerary that notes a tentative trip by Musk to Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands on December 6, 2014—a location central to multiple sexual abuse allegations.

A handwritten note beside Musk’s name read:

“Is this still happening?”

However, the documents do not confirm whether Musk ever made the trip or had direct contact with Epstein.

Musk Responds: “This is False”

Musk immediately denied the claim on his platform, X (formerly Twitter), stating:

“This is false.”

The tech billionaire has frequently pushed for transparency around Epstein’s associations and demanded the release of all related files, especially those kept classified under the Trump administration.

More High-Profile Names Revealed

The released documents also include references to:

  • tentative breakfast meeting with Bill Gates on December 5, 2014
  • scheduled breakfast with Steve Bannon on February 16, 2019

As with Musk, it remains unclear whether these meetings occurred. The documents are part of an effort by Congressional Democrats to increase pressure on the Department of Justice (DOJ) for full disclosure.

Musk Pressures Trump Over Epstein File Release

Musk has publicly criticized former President Donald Trump for not releasing the full Epstein records. In the past, he referenced a 2003 birthday note allegedly written by Trump to Epstein.

Although Musk deleted a post implying Trump’s name appears in the sealed files, he later admitted the post “went too far.”

After stepping down from his short-lived role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk launched a series of posts on X, asking:

“Are there likely to be electronic records in any government or commercial computers recording who travelled on Epstein’s plane?”

And further pressed:

“Just release the files as promised.”

Democrats Push DOJ for Full Transparency

In the wake of these revelations, Democratic lawmakers are demanding the DOJ release all Epstein-related case files, rejecting the long-standing claim that no “client list” exists.

They argue that the public has a right to know who may have been involved in, or benefited from, Epstein’s criminal network.
