Saina Nehwal hits back at actor Siddharth’s SEXUAL comment tweet calling her SUBTLE COC* player

Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal has reacted to actor Siddharth’s tweet where he criticised the star shuttler and made a remark with alleged sexual innuendo.
Speaking to India Today, Saina Nehwal said, “I’m not sure what he meant… I used to like him as an actor but this was not nice. He can express himself with better words but I guess it’s Twitter and you remain noticed with such words and comments. If the security of the PM of India is an issue, then I’m not sure what is secure in the country.”
Earlier, Saina Nehwal tweeted about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security breach in Punjab’s Ferozepur on January 5. “No nation can claim itself to be safe if the security of its own PM gets compromised. I condemn, in the strongest words possible, the cowardly attack on PM Modi by anarchists,” Saina said in the tweet.
In a massive security breach on January 5, PM Modi had to cancel events in poll-bound Punjab after being stuck on a flyover for about 20 minutes due to protesters.
Quoting Saina Nehwal’s tweet, actor Siddharth tweeted, “Subtle cock champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna (sic).”
Siddharth’s remark was vehemently criticised for its ‘subtle’ usage of sexual innuendo. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, singer Chinmayi Sripaada and many others criticised the actor for his tweet.
Siddharth, however, later clarified that he meant no disrespect through his remark. “‘COCK & BULL’. That’s the reference. Reading otherwise is unfair and leading. Nothing disrespectful was intended, said or insinuated. Period,” he said in another tweet.
