Jude Law's son always knew he would follow in his dad's showbiz footsteps
Rafferty Law has not one but two showbiz parents as the son of Jude Law and Sadie Frost.
And it is no surprise that he is carving out a career for himself as an actor.
The 24-year-old, who is the spitting image of his Alfie star dad, already has a number of impressive film credits under his belt and is preparing for his latest project to be released.
Rafferty is next set to star as the lead in Twist – a reimagining of Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist – that was filmed over a year ago.
And revealing how he always knew he was destined for a life in the limelight, he opened up on always wanting to perform since being a youngster in an interview with Radio Times and how he did not let his parent divorce in 2003 “weigh” him down.
“I’ve never really been someone who lets things weigh me down. My mind was on school and making friends, and just growing up like everyone else,” he told the outlet.
“I think from a very young age I’ve loved performing. In half-term I’d be making short films with my best mate and my parents would help out with those.”
Rafferty also admitted that he has been waiting for the right time to make his debut as a leading man as he added: “I think I was always waiting for the right moment to be able to show people what I can do.
“And when Twist came about it just all made sense. I’m really happy that this got to be my first role.”
Rafferty is the eldest son of actor Jude, 47, and actress and producer Sadie, 55.
He also shares siblings Iris and Rudy Law as well as half-brother Finlay Kemp.
Raff is currently in a popular band called Outer Stella Overdrive and has been working on music during the pandemic.
