Last Thursday, Irwin rivera, fighter of UFC, was arrested for trying to murder his sisters with a knife and today, the family asks for help for the fighter, since they consider that he has serious mental problems.
The Mexican mixed martial arts fighter is being held without bail at a behavioral health facility after the court granted him an emergency motion over the weekend, according to online records.
In his first court appearance, Rivera He admitted that he tried to kill his two sisters by stabbing them with a knife, heeding “a higher power” who ordered it.
Affected women, Lezlye and Kelly Rivera, who are stable in the hospital, recovering from stab wounds, spoke with Irwin’s manager, who was told, according to ESPN: “My brother is a good human being who needs help,” said Ali Abdelaziz and continued: “They said it was not really him.”

One of the women who suffered the attack, Lezlye, published from the hospital on social networks his feelings about the attack and his brother’s condition:
“He hasn’t been acting like himself. He hadn’t been sleeping, didn’t speak like he normally did, and completely lost interest in MMA training, which is what he lives to do.“, wrote.
Lezlye said that before the attack she came to her brother’s house just because of his strange behavior, because she wanted to help him, something that the whole family considers necessary, since it requires professional mental help.
“Unfortunately his mental state was worse than we could have imagined and before we could help him what we know happenedHe continued. “His mind has been completely distorted into something unrecognizable,” he said.

On the other hand, the mother of the fighter MMA, told the Mexican newspaper Milenio that his son “he lost his memory and something evil got hold of him a few days ago. His mind was locked, it wasn’t him“.
