Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 'magnetic' love story shared in unearthed clip
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly on the brink of ending their six year marriage, with the reality star “done” with her rapper husband.
The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is said to have instructed a divorce lawyer to draw up papers, while Kanye, 43, continues to stay at his $14 million Wyoming ranch, with “no plans” to reunite with Kim in Los Angeles.
While it seems that their relationship is looking consigned to the dumpster, there was a time when they described what they had together as “magnetic”.
An unearthed clip from a TV show that looked into their life together – Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s Love Story in Their Own Words – from 2017 has shown them speaking lovingly about the bond that they have.
Kim explains about how she hooked up with Kanye in Paris while the rapper speaks about the strengths he sees in his wife and how he ignored calls to dump her rather than become her husband.
Speaking to the camera, Kim detailed how they came together, 12 years before they tied the knot.
She said: “I met Kanye in 2002, he would ask everyone who I was and I would say, oh she has a boyfriend but we always kept connecting and coming into each other’s lives.
“And then he invited me to Paris to his fashion show and that is where it happened, that was when we started our relationship and I was like, s*** why didn’t this happen sooner, it was just right.”
Kim continued: “Everyone would tell him, you can’t be with her, she’s a reality star and she’s going to sink your career but he was like, I love her and I don’t care.”
Kanye was equally as glowing with his thoughts on Kim, as he detailed the qualities that attracted him to her.
He said: “Every time I was around her I saw her the magnetic attraction to this force of energy.
“She was good, pure, happy, loving and brave, courageous, strong.”
They tied the knot in Florence, Italy at a star-studded wedding in 2014 and have four children together – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two and one-year-old Psalm.
