Young man killed his grandfather and wounded his little sister with a machete in Brooklyn | The State
Dayquan Dubose was arrested on suspicion of having used a machete to kill his grandfather and wound two other family members, including his 4-year-old sister, inside an apartment in Brooklyn (NYC).
The three victims were attacked in a second-story home in a building at 300 Putnam Avenue, near Nostrand Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant around 6:20 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The attack is believed to have been related to a domestic dispute. Dubose, 22, allegedly first cut off the girl’s right leg. He then fatally stabbed his 79-year-old grandfather in the stomach, before cutting his 49-year-old brother-in-law in the right hand, police sources said.
The grandfather died in a nearby hospital. The other two victims were hospitalized in stable condition. A witness was able to hold Dubose until the police arrived, reported Newsweek.
