Woman found dead in 'chute' of trash from Staten Island building | The State
A woman was found dead in the trash chute from a Staten Island building.
The event was reported on New Year’s Day shortly before 2:30 p.m. at 937 Victory Boulevard.

Neighbors told the Daily News that the woman was found by a resident of the building. Head and arms came out the duct door.
Sources told the New York Post that the woman knocked on the doors of several apartments before the body was found.

Agents called paramedics to the scene. The woman was taken to Richmond University Medical Center but little could be done to save her.

The police are investigating how the woman ended up in the “kick” and if there was a criminal hand in the incident. The deceased was 34 years old.
