Gemma Collins has urged fans to support Boris Johnson over the lockdown.

GC, 39, reached out to her two million fans on Instagram to ask them to listen to the Prime Minister amid the coronavirus spike.

Earlier in the evening, the reality queen looked as glamorous as ever as she got dressed up especially for the announcement.

In a huge plea to spark a difference, the former TOWIE bombshell pleaded her fans to “stop moaning” and “start doing”.

She wrote: “Guys all jokes aside!!! We must listen to @borisjohnsonuk he’s got a tough job on his hands!!!

“But he is trying to keep us all safe and we must support him. Please take note this is not a joke this is real!!! X LETS DO THIS.

“We could SAVE Christmas and more importantly SAVE LIFES !!! Let’s stop moaning !!!! And let’s START DOING #supportborisjohnson#savelifes.”️

Boris announced new lockdown restrictions earlier this week which included pubs and restaurants across the country having a curfew of 10pm.

The rule of six – which means only six people can meet at once during an outing – remains in place after being implemented weeks ago.

People were being encouraged to work from home again where possible after previous advice the country needed to get back into offices.

These new rules could be in place for the next six months to help flatten the coronavirus curve.

Gemma used her social media to voice her political opinions and to encourage others to follow suit.

Usually on Instagram, the golden-haired siren showcases her weight loss and fitness regimes.

Her social media profile also captures an essence of the reality star’s jet-setter lifestyle including documenting her recent trip to Greece.
