Christmas has come early this year.
It may only be September but the Christmas cheer will lift everyone’s spirits under the new lockdown restrictions.
Festive films will play on loop 24 hours a day on new channel Sony Movies Christmas.
The new channel dedicated to Christmas launched on September 24, just 13 weeks before the big day.
Any Scrooges should turn away now because the Christmas countdown is officially on.
A Beauty And The Beast Christmas, Marrying Father Christmas and The Christmas Cabin were natural choices for the first viewing.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without the classic movies Elf, The Grinch and Miracle In 34th Street set to air at a later date.
More movies will become available for Brits to watch including A Christmas Eve Miracle, Christmas Cruise, Lucky Christmas, The Christmas Contract and Magic Stocking.
From Christmas Comedies to Naughty Vs. Nice, every weekend in the running until Christmas will have a theme.
The channel said: “Santa and his elves aren’t the only people working its stockings off to ensure there’s enough Christmas content to keep you in a seasonal mood right until the big day and beyond.
“Because really, when isn’t a good time to give yourself a little festive cheer?”
Sony Movies Christmas’ service will end in January.
Watch Sony Movie Christmas on Freeview 50, Sky 319, Virgin 424 or Freesat 303.
