Gethin Jones teases fans and celebrity pals as he wears glistening wedding band

The One Show’s Gethin Jones sent his fans into a frenzy on Tuesday.
The TV hunk, 42, teased that he tied the knot by uploading a snap of his hand onto Instagram that showed a gold band on his wedding finger.
“It’s been a big day,” the Welsh star captioned the post – prompting his fans into meltdown as they quizzed the heart throb on if he was a married man.
One typed: “Gutted. Off the market?”

A second asked: “Who’s the lucky person @gethincjones.”
“Nooooo!! She’s a lucky lady! congrats both,” penned a third.
The comments quickly filled up with messages of congratulations and many wondered which lucky lady managed to get the bachelor to commit.

Hours after the post went live Gethin then came clean about the snap and confirmed he is still a single man and that he was donning the ring whilst filming an advert for a jewelry brand.
In a video, where he admitted he had been joking, he told: “Just finished filming for the day and put my phone on to lots of messages.
“Oops. Yeah, it has been a big day… because I got a wife, daughter and a dog.
“Today we celebrated Christmas. I can confirm that after time-traveling that the festive season is going to be brilliant. So yeah I’ve been filming a Christmas advert for Clogau.”
Alongside the clip, he wrote: “Great day on set with @clogaugold … these guys treat me well, a wedding and a family (inc a dog ) all in one day.

“Spoiler: I didn’t *actually* get married in secret and yes, I’m still single!”
A number of Gethin’s celebs pals were fooled by his cheeky post.
Vernon Kay commented: “Oh bloody hell….ya sh**e….”
Loose Women’s Andrea McLean added: “Oh… you!!! I was wondering how that happened so fast!!”
GMB’s Charlotte Hawkins posted: “You tease!”
