the vice president Mike pence highlighted economic growth, low unemployment, and an increase in home purchases among the Latino community in recent years, seeking to convince Latinos in Arizona to vote for President Donald Trump in the US elections. November 3.

Pence praised the contributions of Latino Americans, assuring that they are an example of “faith, family and work”, during an event in Phoenix, Arizona, organized by the group Iniciativa Libre as part of the celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month.

He assured that in the last three years seven million new jobs were created in the United States, of which three million were for Latinos and one million of these latin women.

He highlighted the low level of unemployment among the Hispanic community that existed before the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the high rates of home purchases among Latinos under the Trump administration.

“We are reactivating the economy. In the last four months about 10 million people returned to their jobs; of these 3.3 million are Hispanic “, said.

The vice president assured that the Trump Administration is committed to preserving “law and order,” emphasizing that half of Border Patrol agents are Latino and committing to continue fighting for national security.

He also highlighted the work that Trump has done building 300 miles of border wall with Mexico and reducing undocumented immigration, and affirmed that the Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, supports “open borders” and “sanctuary cities.”
