Mark Wright and Millie Bobby Brown have lifted the lid on the unlikely friendship they’ve formed over the years.
Radio host and TOWIE legend Mark, 33, invited Stranger Things actress Millie, 16, to speak on his Heart Radio show, the pair catching up and exchanging industry wisdom.
Chatting to Mark via a video call, Millie also dished on her new film Enola Holmes, which follows the sister to the famous Sherlock.
The film, released later this month, features Millie in the lead alongside co-stars Sam Claflin and Henry Cavill.
Since stealing the show on Netflix’s Stranger Things as a superpowered teen, Millie’s career has gone from strength to strength and has seen her become a household name both here and across the pond.
Since her Stranger Things debut, she’s gone on to land a role in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and will return in the film’s upcoming sequel.
“You are such a worker,” Mark – who’s married to Our Girl and Corrie’s Michelle Keegan – commended her, “You enjoy work though don’t you Mills?”
“Yes I push myself all the time,” Millie remarked, “I’m always working, I’m always finding something to do. I love work.
“I’m not obsessed with it just because that would be unhealthy, but I love working and keeping myself busy and learning new things.”
And despite making it big in Tinsel Town, Millie admitted she missed the familiarity of her home turf.
Millie said of her latest flick: “On set I used to have a good cup of tea with digestives almost every morning and I had Lucozade when I needed some energy.
“I just loved hearing the accent all day long and the banter. Don’t get me wrong I love working in America, but home is home for me.”
Mark’s full of praise for the up-and-coming star, enthusing: “She works so hard but on the other side she’s so normal and so grounded and she’s such sweetheart, and the fact that you love a cup of tea just says it all Mills!”
Millie added of Enola Holmes: “I was definitely pushing myself through, it was challenging but I absolutely enjoyed every second of it. It was so much fun.”
Last year, fans went into meltdown when Mark revealed Millie was hanging out with him and his family at a popular Essex spot.
