Just six weeks after winning the FA Cup, Arsenal return to competitive action on Saturday when they raise the curtain on the delayed 2020/21 season.

The Gunners head to newly-promoted Fulham, who have bounced straight back up to the Premier League after one season down in the Championship.
Saturday’s match will give Arsenal fans their first opportunity to see new signings Willian and Gabriel in action, following their transfers from Chelsea and Lille respectively.

Fulham vs Arsenal odds
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have lifted silverware in each of their last two matches – and after outwitting champions Liverpool in the Community Shield and Chelsea in the FA Cup final, they are a short priced 4/7 with thepools.com to start the Premier League campaign with a win at Craven Cottage.
Play-Off winners Fulham are 5/1 to score a shock opening day victory and 16/5 to be held to a draw.
Wembley match-winner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is an unsurprising 9/4 favourite to score the opening goal of the new season, but don’t discount Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic at 11/2 first scorer and 15/8 anytime.
The super Serb scored a respectable 11 goals for The Cottagers when they were relegated in 2018/19, is Fulham’s penalty taker and has a habit of hitting the ground running.
He scored for Serbia against Russia this week, scored seven in his first eight appearances of last season and six in his first eight the previous season.
