Serena Williams survived a first set scare before hitting top form and progressing into the last-16 of the US Open.
Williams was outplayed by American compatriot Sloane Stephens in the first set but eventually powered through at the Arthur Ashe Stadium to win 2-6 6-2 6-2.
The six-time winner will now take on Maria Sakkari in the fourth round hoping to book a spot in the quarter-finals.
The Greek 15th seed had already progressed earlier on following a 6-3 6-1 victory over American Amanda Anisimova.
