Declan Donnelly has two billionaire relatives but they keep dodging his emails

Two of Declan Donnelly’s relatives are billionaires – but they don’t seem to be fans.
The star has been taking part in ITV show DNA Journey as experts try to track down long-lost family members.
He and sidekick Ant McPartlin allowed the history hunters to dig deep, and Dec has already been doing some groundwork.
He even met up with Greg and Meg but pleas to stay in touch have so far fallen on deaf ears.
“There was Greg and Meg, relatives of mine in Connecticut, who were lovely and – what’s the word I’m looking for?” he asked his pal.
“Billionaires,” Ant quickly responded.
“That’s it!” smiled Dec. “I’ve emailed them a few times but I’ve not heard anything back yet.
“Either I’ve got the wrong email address, or they want nothing to do with me.”
His friend joked: “I know which one my money’s on!”
But he did have luck with another relative and revealed on the show that she has been over to visit.
“One of my relatives who surprised me the most was a lady called Dixie Carter, a hugely successful American businesswoman who for a long time was involved in the wrestling industry,” he said.
“I’m still in touch with Dixie and, when she was on a European vacation last year, she came to Britain’s Got Talent.
“It was so lovely to see her again and you never lose that feeling of family connection.”
Dec has meanwhile confirmed he made it perfectly clear that he wasn’t going to work with another man on I’m a Celebrity when co-presenter Ant took a year off.
“At first there was a lot of speculation as to who it would be, with people saying Stephen Mulhern or Phillip Schofield should get the job,” he told The Sun.
“But right from the very, very beginning there was no way I was going to host the show with another male. I didn’t want to have another man standing on the same side that Ant stood.”
