Charles Dance displays youthful physique shares a kiss with a younger female companion in Venice 

He’s been in Venice to promote his latest venture The Book of Vision.

But Charles Dance still found some time to relax in the sunshine, as he enjoyed a day at the beach with a blonde female companion on Thursday.

The Game Of Thrones star, 73, showcased his impressive shirtless physique as he shared a kiss with his younger companion during a swim in the ocean. 

Charles proudly displayed his youthful physique as he went shirtless for a swim in the ocean.

He was soon joined by his female companion, who opted for a pale pink bikini with a black stripe.

The pair moved in for a sweet kiss as they swam in the sunshine, before heading back to the beach for a spot of sunbathing.

Charles – who starred as Tywin Lannister in the first four series of Game of Thrones – was married to Joanna Haythorn from 1970 to 2004, and they have two grown-up children.

He then dated actress Sophia Myles, then in her 20s, who has starred in films including Thunderbirds, but they split in 2005.

Charles was also linked to French-born ex-Gucci model Shambhala Marthe, and then dated artist Eleanor Boorman for four years.

Despite welcoming baby daughter Rose together in 2012 and even getting engaged, the couple split months later.

Following Game of Thrones’ disappointing final season, Charles revealed last month that he hopes bosses may remake its concluding run.

He weighed in on his former series in an interview with PopCulture.com, admitting he hadn’t heard of the petition launched by upset fans, but said he ‘would sign it.’ 

‘I mean, I saw it. I continue to watch the whole series even after I’d been killed off in the lavatory,’ he said, laughing.

‘Because I just thought it’s a fantastic television show, you know? I was very lucky to be part of it. I loved it; there were storylines [where] I wanted to know what was going to happen to these people! 

‘I know that the finale satisfied a lot of people. It also disappointed a lot of people, and I’m afraid I am in the latter camp,’ he said.

Charles also had kind words for the showrunners and writers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, but he was disappointed by the finale, which concluded with a reserved scene of the surviving characters discussion who should lead Westeros.

‘I think David and Dan raised the bar when it came to television screenplay writing,’ he continued. 

‘They are phenomenal. And for the whole thing to end up as a committee, I just thought, “Hmm, no.” I would say I was somewhat underwhelmed by [the ending].’
