The book was released to all good retailers yesterday but now online giant Amazon has revealed a new version has been issued due to some major alterations.

In an email sent out to Kindle customers, Amazon bosses wrote: “This book has undergone significant changes, so any bookmarks, notes, or highlights you’ve made will not transfer over to the new version of the book.”

The updated version now has “improved formatting for readability.”

The email adds that “significant editorial changes have been made” to the book.

A representative for Ant and Dec denied Amazon’s claims that the book has been changed, telling Mirror Online: “There were no editorial changes made to the book.”

One of the stories revealed in their new book was how they ended up having a drunken scrap during their pop days as PJ and Duncan.

In the book, Ant recalls: “It was a special summer holiday version of the ITV breakfast show, in 1995, we were promoting Stuck On U.”

The pair were given a rare day off and Ant recalls how a trip to the pub ended in a scrap.

A drunken argument came about as they headed back to the lift to their rooms and Ant was angered at Dec going to bed.

Dec put his fingers in his ears and started saying: “La la la la, I can’t hear you.”

This prompted an angered Ant to punch Dec in the chest.
