Gemma Collins will never give second chance to cheats and dumps men who lie

Gemma Collins has revealed the strict dating rules she lives by after having her heart broken on numerous ocassions.

The 39-year-old star opened up about her self-imposed regulations during the latest instalment of her BBC podcast, Love Lounge.

Gemma told fans ‘once a cheater always a cheater’ and said she would dump anyone who lied to her.

The Essex diva said: “Honesty is definitely important to a relationship, but what I think is more important is being honest about how you feel all the time and how your partner is making you feel.”

She added: “I’ve never really been lied to in a relationship – I always made it clear that you need to keep it honest.

“I have never lied in a relationship either. Sometimes it can be a bit of hard blow but no one can argue with the truth,” she mused.

Gemma then advised listeners: “If you allow it once, it will happen again. Once a cheater always a cheater.”

The reality star, who split from James Argent earlier this year, was careful not give away any names in her chat.

Gemma has spent most of this year single after breaking up with on-off beau Arg when he called her a ‘hippo’ and a ‘fat f***’ in mean text messages.

After meeting on TOWIE the pair endured a turbulent relationship for nine years, but according to pals the cruel jibes were the final straw for Gemma.

Gemma had supported Arg throughout his drugs and alcohol battle and hinted she wanted to start a family with him after visiting a fertility clinic.

Following the break-up, Arg jetted out to Marbella where he has been entertaining holidaymakers post lockdown.

As well as her romance with Arg, Gemma has also dated Laurence Hearn who she met on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 and jailbird Stephen Mortimer in 2016.

She is now said to have found love again with businessman Nadir Gul.

A source told The Sun: “Gemma’s had a really tough time since her split with Arg but Nadir, who owns a pair of restaurants in Essex, has put a massive smile on her face.

“He has asked her out on a date and seems smitten with her. The GC has been telling people Nadir is her dream man and said she finds him drop-dead gorgeous.

“It’s still early days for them but her friends are just pleased to see her happy and smiling again.”
